Blocking .icu domains due to spam..

We aren’t big fans of such drastic measures but more of a “finesse” kind of company, however due to the amounts of spam they produce, and in inability to act by the blacklists, ripe, and other communities we feel drastic measurements is exactly what it requires during this unprecidented (and unmonitored) phase of new TLD’s.

We are happy to exclude companies from the list and “whitelist” them

We are not against any domain or TLD in specific, but certain extensions especially unmonitored or controlled are being used for spam more then others, we are happy to whitelist legitimet businesses for our filters.

Our main priority

Our main priority is simple: protect our customers and our selfs from spam.

When we see a certain increase which bypasses filters on content (such as corona key words) we look at where it’s coming from, ip ranges, but also domain extensions which take little to no actions for spam, due to this we decided .icu is currently on our blacklist. We only accept whitelist requests with legitemit and personal requests for now. We hope the increase of extensions take their own actions and responsabilities to keep peoples mailboxes free of spam. Till then, we at ICT Shift rather take drastic measurements to protect our customers.
