A bit more details about our companies history, how did we start, and where we are now.
Let us tell you how it all got started.
ICT Shift was formarly known as Key4ce.
Where Key4ce (2007) started as Compnetix in (2006) providing IT services on location in The Netherlands – Eindhoven
ICT Shift focusses as a MSP for small, medium and large businesses around the world. We feel more represented by the new name with what we do and love.
2006 - Compnetix was born
Compnetix was founded in 2006 by Marco Tiggelaar in Eindhoven – The Netherlands.
Primarily focussing on IT Support for consumers
2007 - Compnetix became Key4ce
In 2007 Trevor Robinson joined the team.
Key4ce then focussed on business to business server support.
2016 - SolidCP was born
Key4ce provided community support for WebsitePanel for a very long time, when WebsitePanel was about to dissapear we continued the open source project under the name SolidCP.
2024 - Key4ce becomes ICT Shift
While we where always proud of the name Key4ce, it was often not understood, mispronounced and we felt it did not fully represent us as a company, due to this we started the name ICT Shift, which we feel represents us as a company in the current day and age.
